Hello everyone I have booked a group for end of August early Sept. and would like to know what to expect with respect to weather. Im looking for past groups that have been there at this time of year and what they have encountered. Hot, cold, really wet or sun all the time. etc.

OttawaM44,
Our group has gone the last of August - first of Sept. several times. Most recently two years ago. We really liked the cooler nights and pleasant days(mid-70s).  Very few, if any, bugs of any kind.  Fishing was good. Also, unless you are going over Labor Day the traffic is much lighter.

Down side: water levels probably lower at the docks and more rocks slightly exposed.  Daylight hours are fewer.  Fewer flowers, no baby ducks, etc.

Overall, we really liked the late summer.
Good luck.
Joe

I was there 2years ago early to mid sept. Day time temps where in the 15- 20C range with the nites being cooler but not below freezing. There where no bugs to speak of and the fishing was great. My group has booked a trip for sept 11 of this year with no worries of the weather

Good luck on your trip, I wish we could predict the weather, on our last two trips(first week of august) we had several cold fronts move through and the temperatures droped to 4 degrees, daytime highs never even reached 20. I was thinking of booking early september myself this year. have fun lets us know how it goes

I hope that the temperature that you mentioned is Celcius and not Fahrenheit
